Solutions for lost fishing gear: the EcoeFISHent and Ghost gear projects
In this lesson, Alessia Bacchi and Elettra Giampaoletti from WWF Italy present the EcoeFISHent and Ghost Gear projects, designed to tackle one of the main threats to marine wildlife: lost and abandoned fishing gear. This is an opportunity to understand how concrete and innovative solutions can help protect Mediterranean ecosystems and promote more sustainable fishing practices.
